The expo was held in Yangzhong city in 2013. The area of the site for Lianyungang city was 3.6 acre. The garden tells a story about Lianyungang as a coast harbor city with dynamic elements such as sea-sky tower, flowers, reused tires, reeds, trees, shrubs, bamboos, shells, lawn, deck, and fishing boats. The sea-sky tower explores matrix and allusion of the transit hub, and functions as overlooking landmark of the garden as well as the north part of the expo.
